The Tanaga Poetry Writing Project explores a Filipino form of poetry called the "Tanaga".  Tanagas consist of four lines with seven syllables in each line and a variable rhyming scheme.  The poetic form has become increasingly rare in recent years, to the point where modern Tanagas are almost described as "extinct".  The Authors Haunt is proud to aid in efforts to revive this dying art form.

All members and authors are invited to participate in this Writing Project.  If you think you would like to take part, please click on the "Participate" link in the banner above, where you will find the rules related to this Writing Project, links to information about sonnets to help you understand this poetic form, and the submission form you are required to use when submitting your sonnets to The Authors Haunt.
