Welcome to The Authors Haunt Painting with Words Fiction Writing Project.  This is just one of the many ongoing Writing Projects here at The Authors Haunt.  These projects are open to all members and authors who want to try their hand at experimenting with a new style, format or theme, or to simply develop their existing skills.

This particular Writing Project is entitled "Painting with Words".  Participating authors are challenged to write a story with little or no dialogue, instead creating an entire story through description and perception - in other words, they are challenged to paint a picture for readers using only words.  There are no genre restrictions and the stories may be of any length.
