Writing Projects are exercises or
"challenges" designed to help new and veteran authors develop
their skills or expand their knowledge of a form of fiction or
poetry writing.
At The Authors Haunt we have a number of ongoing fiction and
poetry writing projects, with a constant flow of new material
for each as new authors accept our challenge and take part in
the exercises. Though the stories and poems
contained in this section were written as exercises, only those
that meet our minimum quality standards appear on the site, so
you can be assured that the work that appears here is just as
good as the writing you'll find anywhere in our Library.
In the banner of each project is a
"Participate" link that provides useful information about the
Writing Project, including submission rules and guidance.
It is advisable that you read the "Participate" page for the
Writing Project you are interested in participating in, but if
you have already done so you can submit your work quickly and
easily using
